Tickets available for Obama’s Wednesday speech

President Barack Obama is scheduled to speak in Las Vegas on Wednesday, and tickets were made available at four locations in the Las Vegas Valley.

Obama will speak at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday at the Cashman Center, a campaign official said.

Doors will open at 3 p.m. for the event inside the center, which can seat 10,000 people.

Free tickets are being provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of one ticket per person.

Distribution locations are at Obama campaign offices:

■ 6030 W. Windmill Lane, Suite D

■ 3440 W. Cheyenne Ave., Suite 300

■ 5061 N. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 150

■ 1720 Horizon Ridge Parkway, No. 120, in Henderson

GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney will visit Reno on Tuesday to speak at the annual National Guard convention.

Nevada is a key battleground in the presidential race and is one of several states that could determine the Nov. 6 election.
