Drive-by shooting
A man was shot in the finger in a gang-related drive-by shooting near Charleston Boulevard and U.S. 95 around 3:20 p.m. today, Metro Police officials said.
Officials said the victim was riding in a car with his cousin near the 3900 block of East Charleston Boulevard when a man driving a White Chevy Bronco shot at them. The suspect then drove away.
The victim was taken to University Medical Center, where he received two stitches to close a head wound and had his finger treated.
Officials believe the shooting was related to a previous altercation. Metro Police Gang Unit is investigating the incident.
