Regarding the column “Hug earns eatery bad reviews”:

I guess the quote “stupid is as stupid does” is true when people across the country, because of hate and meanness, wrote very bad reviews on a pizza restaurant in Florida that hosted President Barack Obama. Because the owner reacted with joy at the president’s visit, these Americans who had never been in the restaurant made an effort to spread false rumors about the food, service and condition of the place in order to keep people from going there.

The effort of these fine Americans could help this restaurant go out of business. So what will have been accomplished? Another empty store, the owner out of business and left with bills, the servers out of work, the dishwasher and busboys out of work. A truck driver may have one less delivery and could be laid off. The utility companies have one less customer. And last but not least, the local customers have lost a place to take their families to eat.

Thank you to my fellow Americans for increasing our unemployment numbers due to your stupidity and meanness.
