The Las Vegas 51s scored 12 runs in the first three innings Thursday at the Fresno Grizzlies for a 14-3 victory in the final game of an eight-game road trip.

The 51s sent eight batters to the plate in scoring five first-inning runs, including a grand slam from infielder Zach Lutz. Juan Lagares opened the game with a solo home run for the 51s.

Andrew Brown went 4-for-5 with three runs scored to pace the 51s’ 16-hit attack, Josh Satin had a pair of doubles and four other Las Vegas batters had multiple hits.

Collin McHugh (2-0) won his second straight start, striking out five batters in seven innings and giving up no earned runs.

Las Vegas (5-3) returns to Cashman Field at 7 p.m. Friday for their home opener against Colorado Springs.
