It didn’t take long for graffiti vandals to tag a new addition to the Downtown Container Park.

A 40-foot tower containing a spiral staircase was placed Monday at the site of the Downtown Container Park.

The walls and signs of Las Vegas are literally littered with graffiti.

So it came as little surprise that about a day after a 40-foot observation tower was erected on the site of the Downtown Container Park at Seventh and Fremont streets, graffiti was found on it.

Defacing property is a crime that can result in jail time from six months to five years depending on the severity and graffiti target.
