A woman suspected of kidnapping her 5-year-old son from Fairfax, Va., was arrested Wednesday in Las Vegas, Metro Police officials said.
Rebecca Serafin was wanted in Virginia on felony kidnapping charges for unlawfully taking her son Cameron. A Las Vegas resident notified Metro of a possible sighting of the missing child after seeing news about the abduction on TV.
Police were able to track the pair down at an off-strip apartment complex with the help of Luxor security officers and the Nevada Taxicab Authority.
Serafin, aka Rebecca Love, is booked into the Clark County Detention Center on fugitive charges stemming from the Virginia kidnapping warrant. Her son has been taken into protective custody and will be picked up by family members.
