A man who was beaten in a still-unsolved 2011 attack died this week from his injuries, Metro Police said.
On Oct. 21, 2011, just before 8 p.m., Metro officers discovered Nathaniel Young, 57, in the 200 block of West Utah Avenue unconscious and apparently severely beaten, according to a police statement.
Suffering from a head injury, he was taken to University Medical Center.
On Tuesday, Young died as a result of his injuries. The Clark County Coroner’s Office ruled the death a homicide due to blunt force trauma, according to the police statement.
No suspect or suspects have been identified.
