51s losing streak continues at Memphis

The Las Vegas 51s lost their fifth straight game Saturday, falling 4-3 at Memphis in the first game of a four-game series.

Jamie Hoffmann homered for Las Vegas in the fourth inning for a 1-0 advantage, but Memphis responded with three runs in its half of the fourth to take the lead for good.

Ruben Tejada went 2-for-3 with a run and RBI for the 51s, and Wilmer Flores also had two hits.

The series continues Sunday at Memphis.
