A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed Saturday night during a birthday party on Tamerack Avenue in Las Vegas.
The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the teenager as Jaylin Lewis, who was shot in the left arm and torso during a scuffle involving several of the party attendees.
Lewis was taken to the UMC Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead, according to a Metro Police press release.
Metro arrived at the scene, near Rancho and Vegas drives, just before midnight. Lewis' death has been ruled a homicide.
