Traffic Accidents:

Deceased crash victim identified as 25-year-old Las Vegas man

The motorcyclist who died Saturday in a collision on Rainbow Boulevard has been identified as Las Vegas resident Anthony Michael Bako.

The Clark County Coroner's Office said the cause of death was multiple blunt-force trauma from a motor vehicle.

Trooper Loy Hixson, a Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman, said Bako's motorcycle was hit around 11:30 p.m. Saturday by southbound 2011 Chrysler convertible as the cycle was heading northbound on Rainbow near U.S. 95.

Bako, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hixson said officials do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
