Woman accused of breaking into cars, stealing credit cards

Las Vegas deputy city marshals arrested a woman Thursday suspected of breaking into multiple cars to steal purses and using the stolen credit and debit cards.

Jolie Elizabeth Thomas, 36, is suspected of three car burglaries that occurred Aug. 7-8 in the YMCA parking lot at 3521 N. Durango Drive. Purses were stolen from the cars and the victims’ credit and debit cards were then used for multiple unauthorized transactions, city spokeswoman Diana Paul said.

Public tips identified Thomas as a suspect.

Thomas was arrested on four felony counts of burglary, obtaining and using personal information of another person, fraudulent use of a credit or debit card and obtaining or possessing a credit or debit card without consent of the cardholder.
