The 20-year-old man with Down syndrome who went missing Friday from a North Las Vegas group home has been found and safely returned to his residence.

Josue Parra-Meza, who has the mental capacity of a 10- to 12-year-old, had gone missing about 5 p.m. Friday from the home, 825 Beefeater Place, after having an argument with his mother.

Police had asked for the public’s assistance locating Parra-Meza, noting that he did not know his way around the city or have friends in the area.

Authorities did not disclose where he was found or who located him.
