Although most shopping centers can be a ghost town on Christmas Day, that’s not necessarily the case in Las Vegas.

Several centers — as well as a few national retailers — will be open Wednesday for the ultimate last-minute shoppers.

Among those open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Christmas Day will be the Forum Shops at Caesars, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood and the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. The Las Vegas Premium Outlets (both north and south) will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Christmas Day.

A representative from Tivoli Village said individual stores and restaurants set their holiday hours and may be open on Christmas.

Fashion Show Mall, Galleria at Sunset and Town Square are closed Christmas Day.

Personal financing website gobankingrates.com reports several national retailers also will be open Christmas Day.

The best options for parents looking to pick up batteries for those pesky “batteries not included” toys, or people looking for last-minute gifts are either Walgreens or CVS, said gobankingrates.com reporter Amanda Garcia. Both stores also offer gift cards to major retailers. Also open on Christmas Day, according to gobankingrates.com, is 7-Eleven.

Among national chain restaurants open Christmas Day, gobankingrates.com reports, will be McDonald’s, IHOP and Denny’s. Those needing a Christmas caffeine fix will be able to stop by their neighborhood Starbucks, which will be open Wednesday.
