Director of Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline retiring

CARSON CITY — David Sarnowski, general counsel and executive director of the Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline, is retiring after 32 years in state service.

Sarnowski has been in his present post for 11 years and said he doesn’t know what he will do after leaving state government June 30.

His retirement was disclosed at a meeting of the Assembly Ways and Means Committee on Friday.

The commission will select a replacement for the job, which pays $137,145 a year.
