Area of rollover
Two people were sent to the hospital Monday after a single-vehicle rollover accident in the northwest valley, according to Nevada Highway Patrol officers.
Troopers were called to the southbound lanes of U.S. 95 at Ann Road about 3:30 p.m. A white SUV had rolled over, said Trooper Jeremie Elliott.
One person was flown by helicopter to University Medical Center in critical condition. The second person was sent to UMC by ambulance in unknown condition, Elliott said.
The southbound lanes of U.S. 95 were closed momentarily to land the helicopter, Elliott said. The accident remains under investigation.
