Stalled vehicle, wreck snarl traffic on U.S. 95 at Cheyenne Avenue

A stalled vehicle and a wreck on U.S. 95 near Cheyenne Avenue were causing long delays Wednesday for morning commuters, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliott said.

At about 6:30 a.m., a vehicle stalled in a middle lane of the highway, Elliott said. Then, 45 minutes later, two cars collided in the same area, creating a “mess” on the highway, Elliott said.

There were minor injuries in accident, Elliott said.
