More UNLV kickoff times set, including homecoming vs. San Jose State

The Rebels have new football helmets for the 2012 season. Changes include a stripe down the middle, a different color scheme on the block “UNLV” lettering and a darker overall color.

UNLV’s football schedule is nearly complete after the Mountain West on Tuesday released six kickoff times for the Rebels’ 2013 season. The announcement included four home games and two road contests.

The home games included Central Michigan (Sept. 14, 7 p.m.), Western Illinois (Sept. 21, 6 p.m.), Hawaii (Oct. 12, 5 p.m.) and the homecoming game against San Jose State (Nov. 2, 1 p.m.). On the road, UNLV will face New Mexico on Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. and Fresno State on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.

The remaining three games are all on the ESPN networks and won’t have time or TV information until 12 days before the game. Further TV info on these six games will be available in the coming weeks.

UNLV kicks off the season on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 4 p.m. in Minnesota on the Big Ten Network. The full schedule, including all available time and TV info, is below:

9/7 — Arizona, 7:30 p.m., CBSSN

9/14 — Central Michigan, 7 p.m.

9/21 — Western Illinois, 6 p.m.

9/28 — at New Mexico, 5 p.m.

11/2 — San Jose State, 1 p.m.

11/9 — Utah State, TBA, ESPN networks

11/21 — at Air Force, 6:30 p.m., ESPNU
