In reference to Frank Miles’ July 22 letter, “GOP has been known to lie, too,” the letter writer seems to look at politicians in a funny way. In defending President Barack Obama and all his lies, Miles says that Republican presidents have lied, too.
Of course they have — as have so many politicians before them and probably in the future. I guess that’s a prerequisite for entering politics. I wish it weren’t true. To defend the president’s lies by saying “so did they,” (the other party), is both childish and immature.
