The Las Vegas 51s scored three runs in the eighth inning Tuesday in rallying past the host Fresno Grizzlies, 6-5, for their seventh straight win and a series sweep.
Brandon Hicks connected on a solo home run to lead off the eighth inning and Kirk Nieuwenhuis won the game with a two-run home run later in the frame. Nieuwenhuis finished with three runs and three RBIs to lead Las Vegas, which improved to 31-26 on the season.
Las Vegas reliever Gonzalez Germen struck out the side in the ninth inning to record the save.
The 51s are off Wednesday. They open a series Thursday at Tacoma.
