Man nabbed
Metro Police arrested a man Friday who is suspected of attempting to run from officers during a routine traffic stop in downtown Las Vegas.
Police pulled the man over at about 3:45 p.m. near Bruce Street and Stewart Avenue. The man exited his car and ran into a nearby neighborhood, police said. Officers blocked nearby streets and chased the man over walls and through the neighborhood. During the course of the chase, officers recovered a gun the man allegedly dropped, police said.
Police arrested the man about one hour later in the 2200 block of Isabel Avenue.
