Las Vegas 51s infielder Wilmer Flores hits during their opening game against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Cashman Field, Friday April 12, 2013.

Jacob deGrom pitched a three-hitter with four strikeouts over seven innings Saturday for the Las Vegas 51s in a 4-1 victory against host Tacoma.

The 51s took the lead for good in the first inning on a two-run home run from Wilmer Flores. It was Flores’ 10th home run of the season. Rylan Sandoval added a solo home run in the fourth inning for the 51s.

The series at Tacoma concludes Sunday. The 51s open a three-game series at Cashman Field starting 7:05 p.m. Monday against the Fresno Grizzlies. The franchise’s popular Fireworks Extravaganza to celebrate Independence Day is after Wednesday’s game, also at 7:05 p.m.
