A woman died today after she crashed her car into a wall off Lake Mead Boulevard in North Las Vegas.
North Las Vegas Police responded to the crash about 3:40 a.m. at Lake Mead Boulevard and Victor Way, near Simmons Street. A woman had been speeding west on Lake Mead Boulevard when she struck a brick wall on Victor Way, North Las Vegas Police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said.
The impact from the collision flung her from the car and killed her, Coon said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
North Las Vegas Police believe speed, alcohol and a failure to wear a seat belt played roles in the crash.
