Accident
A bicyclist was seriously hurt Friday evening after being hit by a vehicle in the northeast valley.
Metro Police Lt. Roger Price said the woman had been talking on her cellphone when she was hit by the vehicle about 8:35 p.m. at Sahara Avenue and Lamb Boulevard.
Though she was seriously hurt, her injuries were not considered life threatening.
Details about the wreck were not available immediately late Friday.
