Here we go again! Another mass killing of innocent men and women by a mad man with a gun. Wasn’t it National Rifle Association spokesman Wayne La Pierre who said, “The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun”?
Well, the good guys did stop the shooter, but only after he had massacred 12 people.
The right is still screaming about the four people killed in Benghazi. This was certainly a terrible tragedy. However, many more than four people are killed in this country every single day and nothing is done by our do-nothing Congress to help stop this unspeakable violence.
I wonder what platitudes LaPierre and the NRA will come up with this time to justify their stand against background checks.
