Area of shooting
North Las Vegas Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a 20-year-old man dead.
The shooting was reported around 12:07 a.m. today at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard, near Bruce Street. Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound lying in the common area of the complex, police said. Evidence suggested the shooting took place in the common area, they added
The victim was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release his identity pending notification of relatives.
No suspects have been taken into custody, and detectives said they were not prepared to release a suspect description.
