Suspect sought in fatal West Las Vegas shooting

Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s help in the case of a deadly West Las Vegas shooting Thursday.

The gunman who shot a man walking in the 1700 block of Curran Way near H street is still at large, according to Metro Police.

The victim had stopped to talk to an unknown man when the suspect approached, fired several shots and fled the scene, Metro said in a press release.

Officers responded at 3:47 p.m. and the victim was transported to University Medical Center, where he died.

The suspect is described as black with a thin build. He is believed to be 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a shaved head and tattoos on his neck and upper chest.
