Metro Police are searching for a driver they say hit a pedestrian this morning in the southeast valley and left the scene.
Police responded at 8:56 a.m. to the intersection of Eastern and Reno avenues, Metro Officer Jose Hernandez said. The injured pedestrian was taken to University Medical Center with severe but not life-threatening injuries, Hernandez said.
The car involved in the incident was a black sedan, police said. No further details about the incident have been released.
