Plan ahead for these road projects in the coming week in the Las Vegas Valley

Here’s a look at some of the roadwork or road closings you might encounter in the coming week across the Las Vegas Valley:

ONGOING PROJECTS

Nevada Department of Transportation

Interstate 15 and Cactus Road interchange: interchange to open at 2 p.m. today, weeks ahead of schedule, but final cleanup and incidental work will continue to affect traffic in the area. Projected end date: end of September.

Interstate 15 from Cheyenne Avenue to Lake Mead Boulevard: lane closures for both northbound and southbound traffic as crews work on the North Fifth Street Bridge over I-15. Projected end date: summer.

F Street Connection Phase 3 — Interstate 15 between Washington Avenue and U.S. 95: I-15 on-ramp at D Street is closed; southbound lanes on I-15 have been moved to the northbound side and limited to two lanes in both directions. Projected end date: October.

Clark County

Nellis Boulevard south of Sahara Avenue to pedestrian bridge of Flamingo Arroyo Trail: one lane will be closed due to construction on the Las Vegas Wash project. Projected end date: early September.

Lamb Boulevard between Owens Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard: various lanes will be closed intermittently for a street and sidewalk improvement project. Projected end date: mid-September.

Desert Inn Road between McLeod Drive and Mojave Road: various lanes will be closed for a street and sidewalk improvement project. Projected end date: early September.

Regional Transportation Commission

Flamingo Road from Grand Canyon Drive to Rainbow Boulevard: one lane of traffic and/or park lanes will be restricted; affected bus stops will be moved temporarily, with personnel present to direct pedestrians and transit riders. Work will take place during daytime hours only. Projected end date: Sept. 12.

Flamingo Road from Rainbow Boulevard to Boulder Highway: one lane of traffic and/or park lanes will be restricted; affected bus stops will be moved temporarily, with personnel present to direct pedestrians and transit riders. Work will take place during daytime and overnight. Projected end date: Sept. 12.

Las Vegas

Alexander Road at Torrey Pines Drive: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Alexander Road at Cimarron Road: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Ann Road at Cimarron Road: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Ann Road at Torrey Pines Drive: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Bonanza Road at Page Street: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Centennial Parkway at Grand Montecito Parkway: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Charleston Boulevard between Cimarron Road and Warbonnet Way: street disruptions for sewer work. Projected end date: Nov. 21.

Durango Boulevard between Lake Mead Boulevard and Vegas Drive: street disruptions for sewer work. Projected end date: Oct. 1.

Hualapai Way between Town Center and Anasazi drives: street disruptions. Projected end date:: Sept. 5.

Ogden Avenue between Main and First streets: street disruption for California Hotel sign maintenance. Projected end date: Jan. 2.

Ogden Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Rampart Boulevard between Lake Mead Boulevard and Vegas Drive: street disruption for sewer work. Projected end date: Oct. 1.

Skye Pointe Drive at Cimarron Road: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Stewart Avenue at Third Street: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Vegas Drive between Rampart Boulevard and Buffalo Drive: street disruption for street improvements. Projected end date: Saturday.

Washington Avenue at Sandhill Avenue: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Main Street between Carson Avenue and U.S. 95: east half of the road will be closed to traffic for reconstruction of drainage facilities, sidewalk and roadway. Two-way traffic will be on the west side of Main Street with one travel lane in each direction.Projected end date: 2015.

Rancho Drive between Sahara Avenue and U.S. 95: intermittent lane closures while fiber optic cables, traffic signal upgrades and digital message signs are installed to improve congestion. Work will be completed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. in busy sections of the road and from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in residential sections. Projected end date: mid-November.

Hills Center Drive between Village Center Circle and Lake Mead Boulevard: street disruption for landscaping; expect delays. Projected end date: indefinite.

Vegas Drive between Rancho Drive and Jones Boulevard: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: Saturday.

Racel Street between Grazing Grass Street and El Capitan Way: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: Oct. 28.

North Las Vegas

Carey Avenue and Revere Street: intermittent street disruptions while a roundabout is removed and replaced with traffic lights. Projected end date: fall.

Losee Road and Lone Mountain Road: expect street disruptions while a pedestrian bridge is being built. Projected end date: fall.
