Expect traffic delays along Interstate 15 starting Sunday night as crews work to reopen F Street beneath the freeway.
Crews will shut down all but one lane along I-15 at F Street in both directions starting at 9 p.m. on Sunday so they can remove a barrier rail and paint new travel lanes on the highway’s southbound lanes. The southbound ramp to U.S. 95 will also be closed. All lanes should reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday.
The same lanes will shut down again at 9 p.m. Monday so that crews can paint lanes on the northbound lanes. The D Street off-ramp and the U.S. 95 southbound ramp toward Interstate 15 northbound will also close. Two more lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. on Tuesday.
Once the project is finished, three lanes should be open to traffic in both directions between Lake Mead Boulevard and the Spaghetti Bowl.
