Police: 2 dead in Washington workplace shooting

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Police say two people have been fatally shot at a business in Vancouver, Wash.

Authorities say the shooting happened just before noon Monday at a Benjamin Moore Paint distribution center. Police spokeswoman Kim Kapp says two people are dead, including the shooter. Kapp says there no longer is any threat the public.

The shooter has been described as a man in his 60s.

The business is in an industrial park right next to a state highway. At least four police cars were at the scene an hour after the shooting.

Vancouver is near Portland, Ore., on the north bank of the Columbia River. It's the fourth largest city in Washington, with a population of more than 161,000.
