Two people were displaced this afternoon after a fire erupted in their home.
Flames erupted shortly after noon at the home in the 4700 block of El Escorial Drive near Mountain Vista Street and East Flamingo Road, Clark County Fire Department spokesman John Steinbeck said. Crews put out the fire within about 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported, but the fire caused about $70,000 worth of damage. The American Red Cross is offering temporary housing to the home’s two residents.
