Two separate crashes this morning on the 215 Beltway have traffic snarled in the area of Interstate 15 and Las Vegas Boulevard.
The first wreck, between a pickup truck and a sedan, happened about 8 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the 215, near Las Vegas Boulevard, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliott said.
The crash blocked the two left lanes, Elliott said. The other lanes remained open, but the crash was causing traffic delays, he said.
No one was injured, Elliott said.
Compounding the mess, another two-vehicle collision about 9:25 a.m. was blocking all travel lanes on the 215 eastbound near Interstate 15.
One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries that did not appear life-threatening, Elliott said.
A separate collision, meanwhile, on I-15 North near the beltway was blocking both express lanes, according to the Regional Transportation Commission.
