3 crashes back up traffic on US 95 near Spaghetti Bowl

Three separate car crashes have snagged early morning traffic on U.S. 95 South near the Spaghetti Bowl.

The first collision occurred about 7 a.m. at U.S. 95 South and Rancho Drive. Two cars were blocking three lanes of traffic, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliott said.

Then, at about 7:40 a.m., two cars crashed near Jones Boulevard, blocking the middle lane of the highway, Elliott said.

About five minutes later, three cars collided near the Interstate 15 interchange. The cars were blocking the left lanes of U.S. 95 South, Elliott said.

The car crashes were causing lengthy delays for commuters headed to the southeastern portion of the Las Vegas Valley.
