The ramp from the westbound 215 Beltway to southbound Interstate 15 was temporarily closed this morning because of an oil spill.
The Nevada Highway Patrol closed the on-ramp about 8 a.m. after oil was found on the roadway. It was reopened by shortly after 9 a.m.
There was no indication where the oil came from, Trooper Jeremie Elliott said. The Nevada Department of Transportation was called to clean up the spill, Elliott said.
Sand, meanwhile, was been placed over the oil and traffic cones are set up in the area.
