I am writing regarding a need for immigration reform. I have had a grandparent deported who worked and paid taxes in this country for more than 40 years. I also have friends who are in the country illegally.
My grandfather passed away in Cuba without friends and family.
The people I know without citizenship live in fear of their families being torn apart. The vote has been stalled too long.
Revenue is being lost, and people who live in this great republic are being persecuted for believing in this democracy.
