Police seek suspect in convenience store robbery

North Las Vegas police are asking the public for help finding and identifying a man who robbed a clerk at gunpoint in mid-December.

North Las Vegas police are asking for help finding a man accused of holding a clerk at gunpoint inside a convenience store last month.

Officer Chrissie Coon said the robbery happened shortly before noon on Dec. 19 in the 1600 block of North Main Street. The suspected thief took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store.

He is said to be about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. Coon said he had sparse facial hair and was wearing a black knitted cap on the day of the robbery.
