215 Beltway off-ramp to McCarran to close for road work

Road work

A section of the 215 Beltway heading into McCarran International Airport will shut down late Sunday while crews begin widening the highway, Clark County officials said.

The highway’s off-ramp bringing traffic from westbound 215 to the Airport Connector will close from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. the next morning. Travelers should expect some delays, officials warned.

Detours will be posted at the highway during the closure.

The work is part of the county’s federally funded project to widen a section of the 215 Beltway and bridges over Paradise Road, Warm Springs Road, Robindale Road, Duck Creek and the Airport Connector. The project should wrap up in January.
