We’ve had enough of Republicans

There is a new fight for all Americans that must be fought by every eligible voter. We can no longer shake our heads in disgust with leadership in Washington. Congressional leadership has failed all Americans.

Americans are the victims of elected congressional leaders who have become fat not just on their salaries but fat on money from lobbyists. This past year, Speaker of the House John Boehner made his salary plus another $8 million from lobbyists. This is the same man who supported the government shutdown that cost American taxpayers $28 billion.

The Republican Party, and Tea Party members in particular, must be recalled or voted out of office. We can no longer afford the criminal antics of men and women elected to provide for the common good, not just a selected few. Congress looks upon veterans benefits, unemployment and food stamps as something not relevant to them. This must stop.

No American who cares about this country and the future of their children should vote for those who supported the government shutdown. No one should vote for a Republican office holder seeking re-election. Make your New Year’s resolution to kick Republicans out of office!
