Four youths were arrested this afternoon after they allegedly set fire to a vacant house in North Las Vegas.

A neighbor spotted the group breaking into the house about 3 p.m. in the 5700 block of Oasis Ridge Street, Capt. Cedric Williams with the North Las Vegas Fire Department said. The neighbor called police and told her husband, who ran to the group and held them at the location until fire officials arrived.

The fire caused an estimated $20,000 worth of damage, Williams said. No one was hurt.

Two of the youths are 12 years old and the other two are 13, Williams said. They were taken to the county’s juvenile detention center, where they are expected to face arson and burglary charges.
