Bobby Hauck’s new three-year contract will pay him an annual salary of $700,000, an increase of $200,000 per year over his old deal.

The details of Hauck’s deal are in the agenda minutes for the Nevada Board of Regents’ special meeting scheduled for Friday, Jan. 24. Including all deferred compensation, the life of the proposed contract would be $2.25 million to $2.55 million.

Assuming the Board of Regents approve the deal, it will be effective Jan. 25, 2014, through Jan. 24, 2017.

The annual salary increases are as follows: base salary from $150,000 to $250,000, media appearance fee from $150,000 to $225,000 and public appearance fee from $50,000 to $225,000. Hauck will receive a one-time payment July 1 of $150,000, which is deferred money from last year.

Raises for Hauck’s staff are expected, too, but details are not yet available.
