Interstate 15 will be shut down between Cheyenne Avenue and Craig Road nightly starting Sunday for construction of a pedestrian bridge.
The highway will be closed in both directions between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. starting on Sunday and ending Tuesday morning, Nevada Department of Transportation spokesman Damon Hodge said.
During that time, the city of North Las Vegas will be building the columns and concrete surface for the bridge.
Northbound traffic will be directed to exit at Cheyenne Avenue and southbound traffic will be diverted to the Craig Road off-ramp.
Delays are expected in the area, and drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes, Hodge said.
