51s again hit hard at Reno

The Las Vegas 51s trailed host Reno by 11 runs after three innings today, falling 15-4 in a Pacific Coast League road game.

Reno, which scored 14 runs Monday to win the first game of the series, continued the hot-hitting with home runs from Alfredo Marte and Mark Trumbo. Reno scored six runs in the second inning and five in the third.

Daniel Muno and Cesar Puello had two hits to lead the Las Vegas offense, and Wilmer Flores contributed a pair of RBIs.

The series concludes Thursday in Reno.
