The Clark County Coroner's office has identified the man who was shot and killed at a North Las Vegas business on Friday as 47-year-old John Vito Ventura.
Police responded around 9 a.m. to reports of a fight at a business in the 500 block of West Cheyenne Avenue, where Ventura had reportedly gotten into a physical altercation with one of the employees.
A second employee pulled a gun and shot him, police said.
Ventura was taken to University Medical Center, where he died from multiple gunshot wounds. The employee involved in the fight was injured but wasn't taken to a hospital, police said.
The coroner has ruled Ventu​ra's death a homicide.
No arrests have been made.
