Shame on those who air Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh is a shock jock who has said more dumb things about women’s rights than anyone in the media. He also attacks the Democratic Party and the president relentlessly. Much of what Limbaugh says is invented by him for shock value.

The unfortunate fact is that some small percentage of people actually believe what Limbaugh spews. His messages to his listening public are full of hate against women and Democrats, and are racist. Limbaugh is offensive to professional commentators and journalists in the news media.

It is time for everyone to let networks that carry Limbaugh know that this is not acceptable. We as Americans can no longer suffer this buffoon. We need to aspire to a higher standard. Limbaugh must be cast aside; we as Americans cannot sponsor or support what he says.

While the First Amendment protects Limbaugh, we don’t have to tolerate those that choose to broadcast this buffoon. Limbaugh has no redeeming social value; he is a blight upon the media.
