A 7-year-old girl who died Wednesday after she was hit by a pickup truck last week in North Las Vegas has been identified as Nevaeh Malone of Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Malone was walking with her uncle in a crosswalk on Commerce Street on Friday when she was hit by the pickup, according to North Las Vegas Police.
The driver was uninjured and remained at the scene. Police said they do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident.
Malone was transported with critical injuries to University Medical Center, where she died, police said.
