Metro looking for suspects in parking lot robbery

Police say these two men robbed a woman of her purse in a parking lot July 3.

Metro police are looking for two men they say robbed a woman of her purse July 3 in a parking lot.

According to Metro, the two men approached a female shopper in the parking lot of a business near the intersection of Serene and Eastern avenues and grabbed her purse so forcefully she fell to the ground.

The men then ran to a dark colored vehicle and left the scene, police said.

Police say the first suspect is a black male between the ages of 25 and 30 who weighs between 170 and 190 pounds and is between 5'8" and 5'10". He was wearing a blue and black striped short-sleeved shirt at the time of the incident, according to police, and has black hair in corn rows.

The second suspect is a black male between the ages of 23 and 28 who weighs between 170 and 190 pounds and is between 5'10" and 6' tall, according to Metro. Police say he was wearing a dark long-sleeved jacket with stripes down the sleeves and khaki pants at the time of the robbery.
