Car crash knocks out power for about 200 east valley residents

A car crash caused an early morning power outage that left 203 east valley residents without electricity, according to NV Energy.

The outage began about 6:30 a.m. and affected neighborhoods near Charleston Boulevard and Nellis Boulevard, according to the NV Energy website. Power is expected to be restored by about 1:30 p.m.
