Impeach Obama to put our nation first

First off, I would like to commend Brian Greenspun for the way he has run the Sun all these years. Since moving here the end of 2003, I have subscribed to the local papers. During that time, the Sun has published more than a dozen of my letters despite them being mostly in opposition to the left.

A good publication should show both sides of an argument, and the Sun does just that. A lot of publications don’t, and I want to thank you for running a first-class newspaper.

The writer of the Saturday letter “John Boehner should be fired” accuses Boehner of not doing his job and only fighting President Barack Obama. I would like to say he should be fired, but for the opposite reason: He hasn’t been forceful enough.

She also suspects “the color of his skin plays a large part.” That is a real cop-out. She completely ignores all the wrong things he has done and continues to do almost on a daily basis to destroy our country.

We all need to put our biases aside, whether they be racial, political or otherwise, and put our country first. Since World War ll, America has not only been the leader of the world but also the stabilizing factor.

Every president since Franklin D. Roosevelt has recognized this fact and has acted with the best of intentions and legally under the laws of our Constitution.

Obama has changed all that, and now we are like a rudderless ship, adrift with no end in sight.

Bottom line: Obama needs to be impeached so sanity and direction can be restored. Our country needs to come first.
