A Las Vegas man was arrested and booked on a murder charge Saturday after an altercation between the man and his roommate turned violent and the roommate was killed, Metro Police said.

Police responded around 9 a.m. to a call about a man bleeding profusely in an apartment complex, police said. When officers arrived at the 200 block of North 9th Street, they found the man with what appeared to be a stab wound on his leg.

The victim, whose name wasn't released, was taken to University Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

An investigation determined that the victim had argued with Timothy Stall, 22, and the conflict turned violent. As they struggled, police said, Stall threw a piece of glass and struck his roommate on the leg.

Stall faces a charge of murder with a deadly weapon.
