A man stabbed a woman with a machete this morning near Eastern Avenue and Warm Springs Road, according to Metro Police officer Jesse Roybal.
Metro responded about 9:25 a.m. to the stabbing in the 7200 block of South Eastern Avenue. The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in unknown condition, and the suspect has been arrested, Roybal said.
Metro Gang detectives are investigating the stabbing.
